About

Cristiano Pesce is a PhD student in "Molecular Sciences", curriculum "Pharmaceutical Sciences", at the University of Padua and a visiting PhD student in the laboratory of Nanotechnology for Precision Medicine directed by Professor Paolo Decuzzi at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia.

Dr. Pesce achieved his MSc Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemestry and Technology in September 2021 at the “Università degli Studi di Padova" discussing the thesis “Oligoguanidyl bioconjugates for oligonucleotide delivery: synthesis by atom transfer radical polymerization and characterization”. In this project, carried out under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Caliceti, he focused different synthetic approaches for the synthesis of novel non-viral systems based on an oligosaccharide nature for the delivery of nucleic acids-nanomedicines.
